How can we help?
Answers about asking Lucilla, claiming and redeeming deals, your wallet and listing a business. Still stuck? Email us.
How do I ask Lucilla for something?
Open Ask in the app and type what you want, record a voice note, or tap Talk for a live voice conversation. You can also text or WhatsApp +1 (314) 237-4046 and ask the same way — no app needed.
What can I ask for?
Food, products, services and things to do nearby — ask the way you would ask a friend. Lucilla looks through what local businesses are offering and brings back the deals that fit.
How do I find deals on the map?
Open the map. Businesses with a live deal or reward show as pins; tap one to see the business and its offer, then claim it from there.
How do I claim a deal?
Tap Get this deal. You get a one-time code, saved in your Wallet under Active. Claiming does not use it — you use it when you get there.
How do I redeem at a shop?
At the counter, open the deal in Wallet → Active and tap Use now. The app checks your location to confirm you are there, then shows a confirmation with a live clock — show that screen to staff. You can also scan the shop's counter QR code with the app instead. Only tap Use now when you are at the counter: each code works once.
The business comes to me, or we meet somewhere. How does that work?
For mobile businesses, open Wallet → Active and tap Show code when you meet. They scan it or type it in, and that is what marks it used.
How do online deals work?
Tap Buy on their website to open the shop, then use the deal at the shop's own checkout (paste the code if it is not already applied). You pay the shop directly, under its terms. There is nothing to show anybody.
Do I pay in the app?
Usually not: you pay the business in person, the way it accepts. Paying in the app is only for event tickets, bookings that ask for a deposit, and food you order ahead for pickup. If a business delivers, it uses its own people and you pay at the door.
How many times can I claim the same reward?
The business decides: a reward is either once per person or up to a set number of times per person. The reward shows which before you claim.
Can I send a reward to a friend?
Yes, for promos and free event tickets you have claimed and not used: open it in your Wallet and choose Send to a friend, then pick their @username. Paid event tickets, USDC rewards, honeypots and quick-deal codes cannot be sent.
What is the wallet?
A non-custodial wallet you create and unlock with a passkey — your phone's Face ID, fingerprint or device PIN. There is no seed phrase. It holds USDC, a US-dollar stablecoin, on the Base network. Ask Lucilla never holds your money. Each transaction has a small network fee, paid in USDC or covered by Ask Lucilla; the app shows which before you confirm.
Can I send and receive money?
Yes. Use Send to move USDC to another wallet. Add funds shows your wallet address to copy or share, so anyone can send USDC to you. Your wallet is created the first time you claim or fund something.
What are groups and matching?
Tell Lucilla what you want to do, where and when, and it matches you with people who want the same thing; when enough people match, it becomes a group with its own chat. Matching to meet people in person is 18+, so it asks for your date of birth.
How do I list my business?
Get Ask Lucilla and sign in, open your account menu at the top and tap Create a business. Or text or WhatsApp +1 (314) 237-4046 and the agent sets it up with you.
What do I need to list?
A business name, a category, how you serve customers (in person, mobile or online), a line about what you offer, and your street address (in person) or the area you cover (mobile). If you have hours and a website, share them: they are not required, but Lucilla reads them to build a fuller listing. Photos and socials can be added afterwards.
Why isn't my business on the map yet?
A business shows on the map and in the agent's results once it has a live deal or reward. A quick deal takes one line.
What can I offer?
Quick deals, and reward campaigns: promos, USDC rewards, events and honeypots. You choose how often each customer can claim.
How do customers redeem at my counter?
Put up your shop QR code — one code at the counter for your business. Customers scan it with the app to claim or redeem your rewards and quick deals.
Can my staff scan codes?
Yes. Add team members to your business; they can scan codes and help run the shop from the Work menu in their own app.
What does it cost to list?
Listing is free on the Free plan. Paid plans (Starter US$30/month, Business US$100/month, Enterprise custom) raise your monthly limits and lower the event-ticket fee. There is no fee on reward claims on any plan. Details are in the Terms, section 7.7.
Is there a dashboard for larger campaigns?
Yes — the business dashboard at business.asklucilla.com, available on request.
How do I stop offers from a business?
In the app, go to You → Businesses you hear from and turn off email and text for that business. You can unsubscribe from any business at any time.
How do I stop text messages?
Reply STOP to any text from Lucilla to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to You → Delete account, or use the deletion form at /legal/rewards/delete-account. Your Ask Lucilla account is separate from the Lucilla fitness app, so deleting one does not delete the other.
Who runs Ask Lucilla?
Ask Lucilla is a service of Lucilla, Inc., a Delaware corporation, operated in Canada by its affiliate 16699448 Canada Corporation (Toronto).
How do I contact support?
Email support@asklucilla.com. Include your @username and, for a deal, the business and the time.
